Our Foundation provides a meeting grounds and platform for innovators to design and deploy AI/robotics technologies alongside expert clinicians. Our Foundation is actively in the early-stages of working on these medium-term projects:

Surgical Data Science
Collaboration with Dan Donoho (Children’s National) and ISGNS to advance AI for surgical education through operative videos

Telesurgery/Robotic Surgery
Collaboration with Ali Sultan (MGB) and Afghan neurosurgeons to design and advance remote support, and eventually semi-autonomous robotic agents to provide surgical care

Low-Cost IONM
Collaboration with Mitch Lachs (SpecialtyCare) to design low-cost intra-operative neuromonitoring for EMG monitoring in surgery
